SAN MARCOS — A 15-year-old boy was arrested this week after detectives reportedly discovered the teen was making ghost gun parts from his San Marcos bedroom, sheriff's officials said Friday. A tip led detectives to the boy's home on Tuesday, sheriff's Lt. David Gilmore in a news release. While searching the teen's room, investigators reportedly found a 'gun part fabrication process,' several gun parts, and ammunition. The firearm components and the bullets were taken by investigators, Gilmore said.
